The Flower

Strain Lineage: Afghan > kush

Pigment: Medium to dark-green hues with dark copper-orange pistils

Ash Color: Dark grey

Aroma: The terpene density was fairly good sitting at 3%. The aroma’s were subtle due to the dominance of beta and delta terpenes. Nevertheless it had notes of floral and musk to it. I did pick up on some spice which can be attributed to the caryophyllene. I did sense some hints of citrus but it was definitely on the back burner

Trichomes: Trim: the trim was pretty tight to the bud. I have no complaints

The Experience (Spliff)

Duration: 2.5 – 3.5 hours

Climax Duration: 25 mins -1 hour

Initial: the dry pull was something to be expected, not too flavorful due to the beta and trans presence of the terpenes. When lit, I found the roof of my mouth and the tip of my nose was stimulated first. The highness slowly crept on me. While smoking the flavors were extremely well blended and delicious if you like the taste of spicy earth. I like the warmth of the experience, I felt like I was slowly slipping into a warm bubble bath with the sent of chai tea omitting from it.

Mid: I found myself engaged and interactive. My mind races often but with this it felt like time actively slowed down. I was able to be relaxed and inhibited. I was sharing stories of the past, playing card games and having a hoot. When others were talking, I was completely engaged and emotionally connected to the words they were saying. I felt the need to get close to anything whether it be my couch or another person as the night started to come to an end.

End: Near the end of my highness, I wanted to hug the bed. I ate, I talked and I enjoyed my highness. I didn’t feel exhausted afterwards, I actually felt like I was going to go sleep on a cloud. I was well equipped to have a blessed sleep. When I woke up in the morning I felt rejuvenated and good to go.

Flavor: spicy, musky, earthy, hints of citrus. Definitely Beta-caryophyllene, alpha-humulene and beta-myrcene forward.

Packaging: Completely Black cylinder container with a basic pharmaceutical child-proof lock

Activity Pairing: Socializing and connecting with friends, both old and new.

Who We’d Suggest For: I would recommend this to the people who like the old-style experience. The want something spicy, and gassy. I would recommend this to though who like to get wavy

The Verdict

I believe greybeard does an excellent job of maintaining quality and the blend of the flavors well. I was so delighted to see the bud’s integrity being held up so well. For an Afghan it was incredibly big and dense which is credited to the presence of Kush in the genetic lineage.
